• Presented a paper on “Prospects and challenges of globalization of Ayurveda” and won first prize at the Conference Ayur Conclave 2009 held at Sri Meenakshi College, Chennai organized by Lions Club T.Nagar

• Submitted an essay on “Management of lifestyle disorders of eye“ and won first prize at the National Conference on Opthalmic complication of systemic diseases “Update Shalakyaa Tantra-2009 “ conducted by The Govt Ayurveda Medical College,Trivandrum. The article was published as a souvenir
